He was found behind one of the stores at a local mall. He showed up there and one of the employees was feeding him for several weeks. She then contacted petsmart and they cleaned him up (was full of oil and greese) and gave him the medical attention he needed.

OH BABY, IT'S COLD OUTSIDE...TIME FOR A NICE BOWL OF CHILE
My Daddy made the yummiest chile. That's him in the photo taken a few years ago with my neice Courtney and her son, my great nephew, Tanner on Daddy's birthday.
When the weather turns cold and damp there's nothing like it! It's so simple to make and sure to warm you up inside. I have tweaked the recipe just a little. Changed the ground beef to ground turkey, and not as much oil to saute the onion, but, it is still delicious and super easy to make. A very good friend of mine actually won a chile cookoff with the recipe! I hope you will try it and like it as much as we do at our house.
REALLY YUMMY CHILE AND BEANS
Saute one medium onion in two tablespoons olive oil.
Add 1 pound ground turkey. (I use the all white meat) cook with onion until soft.
Season with salt, pepper, chile powder to taste (I use alot of chile powder 2 or 3 tablespoons)
Add 1 large can tomatoes juice and all (cut tomatoes in pieces)
4 regular cans kidney beans (rinsed and drained)
2 small cans campbells condensed tomato soup (or comparable brand) don't add water.
Cook on med high until mixture begins to bubble, then reduce heat, cover pot, and cook on low for about 40 more minutes.
Serve with crackers or corn bread and enjoy!

Daddy
Here are a couple of past birthday photos of Daddy. His birthday is on June 14th...Flag Day. He is very proud of that because he loves his country and it's flag. He is a WWII vet and was honored with a purple heart, though he never boasts about it.
The photo with all the baloons was taken last year at his 90th birthday party. Back row: Christian and Jordan (my niece and her hubby) and my sister Darla. That's my brother, Louie Jr. with the big smile on his face. That's me in the striped top, and my husband Richard holding Tinkerbelle. This photo was taken a few years ago on Daddy's birthday. He enjoyed dressing up in the patriotic hat and bow tie. (that's me, Darla, and Louie Jr. behind him)
