This is such a hectic time of year for us. Doing craft fairs, keeping up our online studios, shopping for family and friends. A couple of years ago, in the midst of all the chaos, I stopped, picked up my clay and started to sculpt.
Ususally, I work in miniature. This was a big project. It's 20 inches tall. (including the trees) The figure itself is about 14 inches tall.
We've all heard the cliche "Jesus is the reason for the season". But, you know...He really is.

ReplyDeleteI think the sculpture is beautiful. It reminds me of the picture of santa kneeling at the stable in worship. I think it brings out the message in a way everyone can relate.
